This was our first Malibu wedding and what a wedding it was! It was one of the most beautiful locations we have ever filmed a wedding in.

Set on a beach, the Adamson house is a historic Malibu landmark and the wedding took place on the grounds. The ceremony and reception were both outside in the gentle breeze coming off the pacific ocean.

These two were so in love, both such smart and accomplished individuals. I had so much fun filming this wedding, it was our first wedding shot fully in 4K. The images I was able to capture are breathtaking. Shooting in 4K enables me to capturing videos exactly how my mind sees them, which is a major improvement over 1080p.

Have fun watching!

Ninja Monkey Media recently relocated to Los Angeles. We still film weddings regularly in Florida, but are focusing on California. This is was our first wedding video we shot in the area, and we are very proud of it.

Filming a wedding in California is similar to Florida, but without the constant weather challenges South Florida presents. The greens are different. Florida has a dark green shade, while California's greens look a bit faded. I find it quite beautiful.

This couple both were a lot of fun to work with. They were having way too much fun! Usually couples seem nervous/stressed, but they didn't seem to have any worries. After the pictures of her in the dress, I even caught the bride walking around in a robe. She was that relaxed. However they want to spend their wedding day, it is my job to blend in with the wedding party an not add any additional stress.

The weather was great, very typical of southern California. Some clouds, but that made the images look nicer. Clouds can soften sunlight. This makes the light in the images not look as direct or harsh.

I try to bring something different to each wedding, in this case it was the type of wide shots. The location had very beautiful architecture which is the main reason I chose this style.

Enjoy!

A beautiful wedding at The Addison in Boca Raton Florida. South Florida is notorious for raining most afternoons, but this day was an exception. It was a perfect, but hot Florida summer day.

This couple has a really cool story, they were once neighbors passing each others frequently as strangers. This all changed when she needed help fixing something, leading them to this special day.

I filmed and edited this wedding in a widescreen aspect ratio. I did this to give the film more of a cinematic feeling, in hopes to immerse the viewer further into the piece. For color grading I chose to match a Kodak film stock. This gives it a slightly warm look with deep blacks. I try to give each wedding video a specific look, usually inspired by the location and the brides dress.

Hope you like it!

Well who does love an elegant South Miami wedding? This gorgeous wedding was held at the coco plum woman's club, a historic venue built by influential South Florida women.

This wedding party was pretty funny. I have a great clip of the maid of honor acting like a stranger who has stumbled into a random wedding. Her speech was also one for the books.

The venue had that old Coral Gables, old world Mediterranean look. I love the aged wood in the dinning room, so much history.

I tried to give this wedding a classic look inspired by the venue. Nothing too flashy, everything should look timeless. My goal in all my videos is too not add too many effects. Any modern effects will eventually look old. I want all my videos to still look new in 30 years when they watch it with their grandchildren.

Have fun!

Looks like another amazing wedding at The Addison. We love this venue, it offers so many beautiful options for pictures and video.

Emily and Jake were a wonderful couple with a cute little daughter who stole the show. The reception had some great speeches, most notably from her dad. They seemed to have a deep connection, and I hope I was able to capture it on video.

Most of this can be seen in the longer, full wedding film. This video would contain parts of the entire day, with the ceremony and major parts of the reception in their entirety. We understand the trend in videography today is to capture less and less of the big day, but our Ninja's feel this is wrong. We don't want you to miss anything and we go great lengths to achieve this.

Take a look and let us know what you think!
